Tell us about your background
I am a product manager with a computer science and engineering background.
I love technology, and used to own a small mobile gaming studio which made me fall in love with building and delivering software products to delight users.
I am married to Yael, and enjoy raising my two amazing kids, Omer, and Naama who teach me new things every day.
Why did you choose to work at Sentra, and when did you join?
You always take some risk when you join a new company. And, my experience has taught me to pay close attention to the work atmosphere and the people around. I chose Sentra over another opportunity mainly because it felt right, the people were smiling in the office, and the interviews were pleasant. This decision has proved to be spot on.
What is your role and what are your responsibilities?
I am the Director of Product Management, and my main responsibility is to lead the scanning part of the product, and make sure we excel at detecting sensitive data for customers, while providing an amazing user experience.
What advice do you have for people getting started in your field?
Be passionate about what you do. Learn, read, listen, explore, and take every opportunity to grow, especially from failures. Most importantly, build long-term trust relationships. Product management can be a tough position where you often have to say 'no.' It becomes much easier when you have a good reputation and trust on your side.
What’s the best thing about working at Sentra?
Sentra has this amazing combination of interesting technology, great people, and effective teamwork. I really feel like I am part of a basketball team where each person brings their own talent and skills to the table, and the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts. This amazing culture and atmosphere pushes me to be the best version of myself.
Can you tell me something surprising you discovered while working at Sentra?
I found that 15-minute meetings are more effective than longer ones.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose and why?
My dream is to live for a year or two in Iceland, to enjoy the amazing nature, ice, volcanos and northern lights.
